Jeff Emanuel

Jeff Emanuel, a decorated combat veteran, served in the US Air Force from 1999-2004 as a Special Operations Tactical Air Controller. His assignments included a year in Korea and combat duty in Iraq. Emanuel is currently a Leadership fellow with the University of Georgia’s Center for International Trade and Security, researching and presenting material on WMD proliferation, as well as on various other trade and security issues. A member of the “New Media Revolution,” Emanuel is on the Board of Directors of RedState.com, whose blog was recently recognized as the “most-read on Capitol Hill.” He is also a contributing editor and weblogger for Townhall.com; a weekly columnist for Human Events, the nation’s first weekly conservative newsmagazine (est. 1944); and is a contributing editor for the state of Georgia’s top political weblog, Peach Pundit. Emanuel’s columns have appeared in such publications as the Washington Times, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Hawaii Reporter, FrontPage Magazine and others, and he has a weekly column in the Athens (GA) Banner-Herald newspaper. He has also been interviewed on the Mike Gallagher Show, NRA News, and the George Putnam Show as well as several others.
